Ice Diving in Russia - 13/09/2006
Our first ice diving venture in the Artic circle finished in April.
Articles have now been published in Sportdiver magazine (Sept Issue) and will also be published in two other countries, Poland and Russia. Images will be available in Oct.

The front cover shot featured a diver passing over a coral rock under ice. The trip was very sucessful in producing many spectacular images

Cape Verde Islands - 13/09/2006
In the summer of this year a sucessful trip was completed in the Cape Verde islands. The article is being released in Oct issue of Sportdiver magazine. A second trip is planned back to Cape Verde in late 2006 to complete the story of Manta Rays and Whalesharks. Images will be on line in Oct.

Iceland's continental rift - 13/09/2006
Fantastic images have been taken of the two continental shelves’ that are present in Iceland. The crystal clear water has produced beautiful images in and incredible setting.
The full article will be released in Sportdiver Nov issue and will be availabe from Nov on our website.

The Last Wolf - 13/09/2006
A tour of Romania was conducted this summer to track and photograph the wild bears and wolves that are still wild in the mountains. The tour was successful and included diving the cave systems that feature in the film "Cave".

Romania has to be one of the last great nations that are still steeped in traditions; all this could change soon when they enter the EC.

Island of Crete - 13/09/2006
The laws concerning diving in Greece have now changed allowing more freedom to dive along their beautiful coastlines.

We took a short break and dive the incredible cave systems in Crete. The trip is to be featured as weekend special in Sportdiver.

Photography Training - 23/03/2006
 Photography Training Sevenseas Explorer now offer two fantastic locations for both photography and video training.

In association with Dive Worldwide and Aqua-Pix, specialist courses are now on offer for November and December 2006.

Zanzibar and the Philippines have been chosen due to the diverse marine life and stunning locations that make them ideal photographic locations.

Diver Training - 07/03/2006
Sevenseas Explorer are due to release a full program of diver training.

Initial training will be offered, together with Aquapix, for Digital and Video training in locations Sardinia, Philippines and Zanzibar.

Later this year standard PADI courses will also be offered.

Russia Artic Trip - 07/03/2006
A team of divers will be taken to Russia'artic circle for an ice diving program. This to take pace on the April 1st, heading off to the Polar Lodge at Russia's White Sea.

New DVD - 31/10/2005
Sevenseas Explorer in association with Aquapix are to produce a new DVD and book concerning the history of one of Britains most successful WWII submarines.

The film will contain footage of actual dives on the submarine and also the ships she sunk.There will be interviews with crew members and witnesses to the battles she was involved in. Here about her amazing hide and attack tatics in a Sardinia cave.

Mine Diving - 31/10/2005
Sevenseas Explorer are involved in the setting up of Newfoundland's Bell Island Mines diving expedition.

After a major campaign with Ocean Quest, the Canadian government have agreed to aloow diving in these flooded mines. Neil Bennet will be part of the official and first exploritory team to dive the mines in spring next year.

Austrian Ice Tour - 09/03/2005
 Austrian Ice Tour Sevenseas Explorer has just completed an ice diving tour in the Austrian Alps.

The tour was a joint venture with the Austrian tourist board and has been commissioned by Sportsdiver magazine to appear in the Sept 2005 issue. The article and images are to show ice diving and the training required to undertake this venture.

Canada & RAF Confirmation - 09/03/2005
Confirmation has been received for the commissioning of a joint venture with the RAF.

Diving will be documented on four wrecks around the Newfoundland coastline.

Sevenseas Explorer will be providing articles and images to several magazines.

Two more Ice Diving Ventures - 09/03/2005
Sevenseas Explorer are going to be involved with two expeditions with the purpose of ice diving and documenting the ventures.

The first will be in Dec 2005 to Canada’s Newfoundland, the second will involve a trip to the Artic circle and diving under the White Sea in Russia. This is planned for March 2006

Iceland & Tectonic Plates - 09/03/2005
A trip is in the process of negotiation with the Iceland Tourist board to dive the tectonic plates that regularly create earthquakes in this region. Photographs and articles have been commissioned by Sportsdiver magazine.

Trip Back to Vanuatu - 09/03/2005
 Trip Back to Vanuatu A tour is planned with Dive Leisure London to go back to Vanuatu and document more of the President Coolidge. Tour is planned for June 2006 and will be a full on technical trip on Trimix to explore deep inside the wreck.

Africa Tours commissions - 08/12/2004
SevenSeas Explorer are about to undertake several exiting new commissions in the New Year.

In February 2005 we will be working again with one of our favourite clients Africa Tours out in Mozambique. Africa Tours have created an exciting new adventure package for divers out in the Mozambique channel. SevenSeas Explorer will be documenting the new live aboard trip for various journals and to photograph the action as it happens.

In July and August we are to cover an exploration expedition, diving in Newfoundland with the RAF, courtesy of Ocean Quest, on what should prove to be exiting and new adventure. The exploration is to photograph and document wrecks of historic value found off Newfoundland in depths beyond the Sports diver range.

Magazine Articles Coming! - 07/12/2004
 Magazine Articles Coming! In the January’s addition, out mid December, of Sportsdiver an article is due to be published concerning the use and training of Diver Propulsion Vehicles. Photographs and editorial are by Neil Bennett.

March’s addition, out mid February, covers a visit to the American shipwreck the President Coolidge from WWII and details how she ahs now become a beautiful reef in her own right. The article takes on a tour inside one of the world’s biggest shipwrecks.

The April’s addition, out mid March will host the third article concerning Sardinia and the shipwreck KT-12. Stunning images of the Italian WWII wreck can be seen long with the story of her fate.
